Grand Canyon’s North Rim Closed Amid Massive Wildfires


Nearly 60,000 acres are now burned by the White Sage and Dragon Bravo fires near the Grand Canyon, forcing the closure of the North Rim of the national park. The Grand Canyon Lodge, an nearly 100-year-old piece of American history, was also lost in the blazes. NBC’s Steve Patterson reports and TODAY’s Al Roker tracks the latest forecast.
